Online gambling technology giant Playtech has partnered up iGaming and betting operator Kindred in a move that will see the former launch its Casino (RNG) products across the latter’s digital gambling brands, including flagship operation Unibet.
The two companies marked the beginning of their newly penned partnership with the launch of Playtech’s online casino content with Unibet’s UK and .com websites.
The provider’s Casino offering will later on be rolled out across more regulated markets, including Belgium, Romania, and Sweden, and with the iGaming operator’s other brands.
Kindred’s operations will gain access to both classic Playtech titles and new releases, such as the hugely popular Age of the Gods suite, the Fire Blaze Jackpot series, and more products developed exclusively for the provider’s platform by its game studios, including Quickspin, Origins, Vikings, Ash, and Rarestone.
Kindred is the latest big operator to sign a content delivery deal with Playtech in recent weeks. Last month, the major provider announced that it has agreed to supply its Casino and Live Casino range with 888casino, the iGaming brand of major digital gambling operator 888 Holdings.
Last year, the game and related casino software maker marked its entry into the regulated US market with the launch of its products with bet365 in New Jersey.
A Fantastic Level of Entertainment
Commenting on their deal with Playtech, Kindred Head of Casino David Robertson said that the company’s innovative and engaging content will “provide a fantastic level of entertainment” to their international gaming audiences.
He added that this will be a “very exciting partnership” and that they look forward to working together with the provider and developing their alliance further in the months and years to come.
Playtech Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad said that they are thrilled to have been chosen by Kindred as its technology partner and that their partnership with the operator highlights the continued strength of their Casino offering.
Mr. Akad went on to say that this alliance is a great example of the company’s commitment to team up with the right partners and thus bring great entertainment to new and growing iGaming markets.
Playtech recently published its financial report for 2020, declaring a 25% drop in its annual revenue which it attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic that caused the cancellation of global sports last year and the closure of brick-and-mortar gambling establishments.
The company also revealed plans to focus on the US and Latin America over the next few years as crucial areas of growth opportunity. It recently partnered with subsidiaries of US casino and racetrack operator Greenwood Racing that will see it expand across four states and signed strategic agreements in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Panama to boost its growth in the LatAm region.
