Online slots and table games maker Habanero has netted a partnership agreement with Spanish iGaming content aggregator Emara Play in a move that will see it strengthen significantly its foothold in Spain and Latin America.
Under this recent agreement, Habanero will integrate its content onto Emara Play’s aggregation platform to initially roll it out in Latin America.
Following its full certification to prove that it meets the standards set by Spain’s gambling regulator DGOJ, Habanero will also launch its slots, table games, and a set of promotional tools in that country.
The partnership will further pave the way for the iGaming content maker to team up with Spain-licensed gambling operators. It unveiled plans to announce a series of high-profile deals in that market in the near future.
Habanero is focused on crafting engaging and entertaining content for online, mobile, and land-based casinos. It offers more than 100 slots and a range of table games and video poker titles. In addition to its games, it also provides its clients with access to original marketing tools that aim to increase engagement and retention as well as with a trademarked jackpot system.
The studio has offices around the world and is managed by a team of industry experts that boast more than four decades of experience in the world of betting and casino-style gaming.
Deal Testament to Commercial Footprint in Europe and Other Territories
Commenting on their agreement with Emara Play, Habanero Business Development Executive Vera Motto said that it is a “testament to our commercial footprint in the European territory and beyond” and that they are delighted to align with another important player in the Spanish market.
The Habanero official went on to say that this recent move bolsters their “exciting and ambitious commercial plans” for Spain and the Latin American region.
Emara Play CEO Daniel Rubio said that they saw huge potential in Habanero’s content from the very first moment they got introduced to it. He further praised their new partner for being a “fresh and innovative company” that is certain to have a lot to offer to the Spanish and LatAm digital gaming spaces.
Mr. Rubio also pointed out that their strategy is focused on providing their operator partners with quality games from local providers and that “Habanero will undoubtedly help us achieve that.”
News about Habanero’s partnership with the content aggregator emerge shortly after the studio obtained a license from the Malta Gaming Authority. That license enabled it to expand in multiple markets and provide its content to operators targeting players from those markets.
It should also be noted that the game developer has been aggressively expanding across the Latin American region over the past several years. Last year, it debuted its offering into the Colombian iGaming market through a partnership with Spanish gambling powerhouse Codere.
It was in 2020 again when it teamed up with US iGaming company Rush Street Interactive to further strengthen its Colombian footprint. Rush Street operates the RushBet.co site in that market.
In March, it announced that it has secured its entry into the Paraguayan iGaming space through a content supply deal with leading local operator Slots del Sol.
